Course delivery modes

Course delivery modes

Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. Changes will likely occur as the province and its municipalities adjust to new data about the virus. Please be advised that the manner of delivery of courses, co-curricular opportunities, programs, and services is subject to change, in accordance with university policies.

The following delivery modes were implemented during the pandemic and may continue to be implemented as per university guidelines.

Dual section implementation

Normally, there is only one active delivery mode, and this information is indicated in the course timetables.

Sometimes students may see both in-person (e.g., section 0101) and virtual participation (e.g., section 0901) options listed in ACORN; this does not imply that both delivery modes are open for student enrolment. Rather, a secondary/inactive section serves solely as an administrative arrangement to accommodate mid-session changes in response to evolving university and/or public health requirements.
